Audi India has launched the all new RS7 Sportback in India at INR 1.94 crore. Think of it as a performance-biased cousin of the regular A7 sportback. The car could now be booked online or through the dealers and the deliveries will commence from next month onwards.
The RS7 Sportback seems quite brawny and gets a menacing stance altogether. It gets bold wheel arches and RS spec oval exhaust pipes along with a powered rear spoiler, that comes out at speeds post 100kph. The all-new RS7 gets more tech enhancements in the cabin. There are the familiar virtual cockpit system and the flat bottomed steering wheel intact and the RS7 even gets the RS-spec drive modes- RS1 and RS2. The 2020 RS7 comes in as a five seater for the first time in history.
The powerhouse of the RS7 Sportback is a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 that spits 600 hp and 800 Nm. It gets a 48V mild-hybrid system and Cylinder on Demand technology which decently enhance fuel efficiency. The engine comes mated to an 8 speed triptronic transmission unit. Zero to hundred comes as fast as in 3.6 seconds. Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system finds a place in the car, thereby making for better handling and easier taming of the torque. The RS adaptive air suspension is standard too.
