The upcoming i20 facelift could get connected tail lamps like the updated Venue
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) seems to be prepping a lot for 2023. The carmaker is expected to launch a slew of updates/facelifts next year. The next-gen Verna and new Creta are hoped to arrive in 2023. As it turns out, the manufacturer could also launch a facelift to the i20. A few test mules of the 2023 Hyundai i20 facelift were recently spotted testing in Korea. Spy shots suggest heartwarming changes incoming…
The mid-life update could give the i20 major design changes. Notable revisions are expected in the grille design, alloy wheels, and in the tail. The rear could get a stylish LED light bar connecting tail lamps, much like the one on the MY22 Venue. Minor changes would be present in the headlamp and bumper designs as well.

Hyundai i20 2023 could get major updates to its cabin, the details of which are scarce at the moment. The car could get new upholstery and more features. A major difference would be in the range of powertrains offered. While the outgoing i20 offers a 1.2 NA petrol, 1.0 turbocharged petrol and 1.5 diesel, the update would axe the last, and turn the hatchback into a petrol-only model. The upcoming stringent emission norms have forced Hyundai to kill the diesel variants.
