Renault Kiger has lately been a popular pick among Indian car buyers. In Renault’s Indian portfolio, it could be the current best seller. The roll-out of the special edition Kiger Urban Night is expected to contribute significantly to the momentum. It is limited to just 300 units.

Like every other model of the Renault Urban Night series, the limited edition Kiger comes finished in an exterior shade of Stealth Black. The interesting thing here is that the regular Kiger already has this shade in its official colour palette. The Urban Night Edition Kiger, however, gets a more extensive Stardust Silver detailing on its exterior. You can find these on the front and rear skid plates and side claddings. The rear trunk liner on the Kiger Urban Night Edition looks and feels a tad more premium than other Urban Night models.

Renault Kiger Urban Night Edition Features and Interior

The cabin seems largely unchanged from the standard car. However, a few significant feature additions can be found on the Urban Night edition, that’ll play key roles in improving the overall occupant experience. The limited edition Kiger comes with illuminated scuff plates that read ‘KIGER’ and puddle lamps that project the same.

There is also a 9.66-inch Smart Mirror Monitor on offer. Like in the Triber Urban Night edition, this screen displays feeds from the front and rear cameras. On the Kiger, however, the Urban Night suit adds an attractive ambient lighting setup to the cabin. The ‘Advanced ambient lighting’ strip can be seen neatly integrated into the dashboard, along its breadth. It comes with selectable colours and animated lighting.

Renault Kiger Urban Night Edition Specifications

There are no changes to the engines or specifications in general. Since Urban Night is based on the top-spec variants, these can be had either with a 1.0L turbocharged petrol engine or a naturally aspirated one. 5-speed manual and CVT transmissions are available. The NA engine produces 72 hp while the turbo can churn out up to 100 hp.
