Renault Kwid Urban Night Edition Price And Details Explained

Up close with the Kwid Urban Night edition

Renault’s new limited-run Urban Night Edition adds a lot of visual appeal to their products. The manufacturer has launched this package on all its products and based the same on the respective top-spec variants. Kwid is still the entry point to the Renault range and ‘Urban Night’ suite adds more flair to the tiny hatchback. Here is everything to know about Renault Kwid Urban Night Edition- from features and design updates to ex-showroom prices…

Renault Kwid Urban Night Edition: What Is Different?

Renault Kwid Urban Night Edition is limited to just 300 units. It is more or less a cosmetic package. While the Urban Night editions of Renault Kiger and Triber come with a number of interesting feature additions, the limited edition Kwid gets very few of those.

Like every other car in the Urban Night series, the limited edition Kwid gets Stealth Black as its exterior paint. The interesting thing here is that it doesn’t have Black in the factory colour palette, and the Urban Night edition is the only way to buy a Black Kwid!

Complementing the Black body color are multiple accents and touches of Stardust Silver. You can find these on places like the flex wheels, headlamp bezels, front and rear skid plates, and roof rails. The car also gets Stardust Silver bumper garnishes and a trunk liner. The mirrors here are finished in Piano Black.

On the inside, the Kwid Urban Night edition gets minimal feature additions. The overall, design, and cabin colourway remain unchanged from those of the regular car. However, the Urban Night Edition Kwid gets puddle lamps that project ‘KWID’ and illuminated scuff plates that read the same.

Renault Kwid Urban Night Edition Specifications

Urban Night Limited Edition stays clear of any mechanical influence on all models, and the Kwid is no different. This hatchback has its powertrain untouched on the special edition. Its 1.0L, 3-cylinder petrol engine continues to produce 68 hp and can be had with either a 5-speed manual or a 5AMT transmission. Since the Urban Night Edition is based on the range-topping trim, both these gearboxes make their way into the limited-run series.
