The first BS6 Ducati Scrambler is finally here !
Ducati launched its second BS6 offering today. The manufacturer has brought in two different iterations of the Scrambler, namely Scrambler 1100 Pro and 1100 Sport Pro. The former bears a price tag of INR 11.95 lakh while the latter is priced at INR 13.74 lakh in India.
The Scrambler series is for those who prefer a bit of adventure runs outside the city, in addition to their regular office commutes. The icon already has a well-set fan following in the country.
Both the Scrambler 1100 Pro and the 1100 Sport Pro come powered by a 1100cc, BS6 compliant L twin two-valve engine that promises generous torque delivery right from the lower RPMs. This mill churns out 86hp at 7500 rpm and a peak torque of 88.4 Nm. The transmission duties are carried out by a 6-speed unit and the bike has a multi-plate wet clutch.
While the Scrambler 1100 Pro falls no short in excelling in style and equipment array, the 1100 Sport Pro takes things to a whole new level. The Sport Pro is the beefiest version of the bike and features a different set of suspension from Ohlins that translates to more capability off the roads. the Sport Pro gets a wheelbase of 1514 mm, providing for better stability at higher speeds. Also available is a unique Matt Black paint scheme. Talking electronics, there are stuff like Ducati Traction Control (DTC), cornering ABS, three standard riding modes etc on offer on both the motorcycles.
