Hardeep Singh Brar is hoped to bring commendable growth to Kia Motors India
Korean manufacturer Kia Motors has appointed Hardeep Singh Brar, an auto industry veteran, as the National head of sales and marketing for the Indian region, with immediate effect. Brar who replaced Manohar Bhat will be responsible for driving Kia Motors’ sales and network in the Indian market.
Brar brings along over twenty years of experience in the auto industry to his new role, having most recently served as the Marketing and Sales Director of Chinese automaker Great Wall Motors. Apart from that, this Harvard Business School alumnus has held several senior leadership positions at different automotive companies including Maruti Suzuki, Volkswagen, General Motors, and Nissan. His protean career is spread across sales, network, and marketing functions of the aforementioned conglomerates.
With reference to the Company statement, Brar has been designated to accelerate and expand their growth with his in-hand expertise in the industry. Kia motors being a fast-growing automaker in the country with limited-but-hot selling models including Seltos, Carnival, and Sonet, has high hopes of growth in the Indian Market in the days to come.'
