XUV 400 EL produces 148bhp and 310Nm and has a top speed of up to 150kmph
More than 3 months after its unveiling, Mahindra has finally launched the XUV 400 EV, priced from Rs. 15.99 lakh. This is the first electric product from Mahindra and the brand will start taking bookings on January 26, while the deliveries are scheduled to start in March. The XUV 400 will be offered in two variants, EC and EL.

These prices are introductory and will only be applicable for the first 5000 units of each variant. The XUV 400 is already displayed at select dealerships and select airports across the country.

The XUV 400 EC carries a 34.5 kWh Li-ion battery with a MIDC range of up to 375km. It is priced at Rs. 15.99 lakh with a 3.3 kW charger and the price goes up to Rs. 16.49 lakh when a 7.2kW charger is opted for.
The EL variant has a 39.4kWh Li-ion battery pack with the 7.2 kW charger as standard. The motor on the XUV 400 EL produces 148bhp and 310Nm and can attain speeds of up to 150kmph. It can accelerate from zero to 100kmph in 8.3 seconds. Mahindra XUV 400 EL variant is priced at Rs. 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
