New Mahindra Scorpio N Z8 Select Variant Launched From 16.9 Lakh

Here comes the less pricey Z8!

Mahindra has added a new, more affordable variant to its Scorpio Z8 lineup, called Z8 Select. Priced in the range of 16.9- 18.9 lakh (up to 1.65 lakh less than the regular Z8), ex-showroom, the Scorpio N Z8 Select sits between the Z6 and the Z8 variants in the lineup. Deliveries of the new variant will begin on March 1.

There is some significant reshuffle of features and tech between the ‘Z8 Select’ and Z8 variants, more about which will be discussed in this article. The Z8L continues to be the range-topping variant of the Scorpio N.

Mahindra Scorpio N Z8 Select: Features And Tech

Being the more affordable Z8 variant, the Z8 Select misses out on a few features. Things like push-button start, tyre pressure monitor, power-folding mirrors, dual-zone AC, automatic headlamps and wipers etc.

This doesn’t mean the Z8 Select falls short of equipment. It comes with things like LED lighting, an 8-inch touchscreen, 7-inch TFT instrumentation, wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, Adrenox Connect with 60+ Connected Car features, sunroof, rich Coffee-Black leatherette interiors, rear disc brakes, six airbags, ESC, and more.

A new ‘Midnight Black’ colorway is the only exterior change.

Mahindra Scorpio N Z8 Select Specifications

The new Scorpio N Z8 Select is available with the choice of petrol and diesel engines. The 2.2L diesel produces 175 hp and the 2.0 Turbo petrol churns out 203 hp. Transmission choices include 6MT and 6AT boxes. The Z8 Select variant is not available with 4WD.
