Tata Motors is now celebrating an epic sales milestone. The Nexon moniker has sold over 7 lakh units across India, over the past 7 years. The ‘SUV’ has also been topping sales charts for three consecutive years- from 2021- 2023.
Tata Nexon debuted in 2017, with just the petrol and diesel powertrains. In 2018, it scored an impressive 5 star safety rating in Global NCAP’s crash tests.The sky-high safety quo has since remained the best USP of Nexon. In 2020, the EV form joined the Nexon lineup, further followed by the extended range version in 2022, called ‘Nexon EV Max’
As of 2024, Tata Nexon has both ICE and EV forms on sale, spread across 100+ variants. The recent facelift also proved itself in BNCAP crash tests, by scoring 5 stars in both adult and child safety. Tata’s popular compact SUV has also won multiple awards, over the years.
