Tata Starbus has lately been in high demand in the country
Tata Motors has been a mighty player in the country’s CV space, and has now announced one lakh happy customers milestone for its Starbus nameplate. Tata Starbus has been in business for a few years now and is available in diverse configurations as well. The bus has found great acceptance in various roles like in transporting staff, public transport and as school buses. Tata also has an electric version of the Starbus chassis.
Several fleet operators across the country have been having great times with Starbus. It was the Starbus that had introduced the OEM-built bus concept in India. It had leveraged the max out of Tata Marcopolo’s deep know-how of bodybuilding, to mould itself to be a comfortable, hospitable place for the passengers to be in. Tata manufactures the Starbus in its Dharwad facility and with modern-day tech like the Tata Fleet Edge integrated into it.
Tata has recently been aggressively revamping its commercial vehicle portfolio in India. The homegrown brand already has a colossal market share in the CV space, which is hoped to scale further heights with the recent launches and revisions to its CV nameplates. The CV vertical had posted an overall growth of 8% in November.
