Tata Tiago Hits 3 Lakh Units Production Milestone!

Tata Motors has rolled out the 3,00,000th Tiago from its Sanand facility

Consumer demands for the Tata Tiago hatchback have been on the rise in India in the recent times. The car has been amassing great sales number all over the nation. The Tiago has also earned fair reputation for the state-of-the-art safety it offers. To further add to its glory, Tata Motors has now rolled out the 3,00,000th unit of the car from its Sanand facility in Gujarat.

The Tiago was originally launched in 2016, initially dubbed Zeca. Later it was rebranded to what it is today. The car had emerged as the most sold hatchback in August 2018. It is also the first car designed under Tata’s IMPACT design philosophy. The BS6 guise of Tiago that was introduced recently had also hit the news then, for having achieved 4-star Global NCAP adult safety rating. The BS6 car comes fitted with a 1.2L BS6 petrol engine and offers a 5 MT and AMT as transmissions.
