The news comes with just days left for the F77 launch
Ultraviolette Automotive is gearing up to launch its much anticipated electric sports bike- F77, in a few days, and has now announced another great news. The company has raised series D funding from Qualcomm Ventures and Lingotto (formerly Exor Capital). These investments will be used to strengthen its domestic presence and further for effective expansion into global markets. Part of it would also be used to build further on the manufacturer’s technological abilities.
Both Qualcomm Ventures and Lingotto are well-known investors. The former invests in 5G, Artificial Intelligence, Automotive, IoT, Enterprise and Cloud, and XR/Metaverse, while the latter has controlling stakes in big names like Ferrari (RACE.MI), Stellantis (STLA.MI) CNH, Industrial (CNHI.MI), Iveco Group (IVG.MI), The Economist Group, Via and the soccer team Juventus (JUVE.MI).
Ultraviolette F77 Launch Date: November 24, 2022
Ultraviolette is preparing to launch its first product- the F77, on November 24, 2022. The electric motorcycle is hugely anticipated, with a major share of the buzz revolving around its exciting specs. The vehicle is known to come with a lightweight chassis and capable powertrain. It would have a fixed Lithium-ion battery pack that offers high energy density and guarantees better outputs. It would also be the largest battery unit on any electric two-wheeler today. A range of around 307 km is to be expected. There will be three variants to the Ultraviolette F77 electric motorcycle: Airstrike, laser and shadow. More details are expected to surface in the coming days.
