Tata Punch.EV

The new Tata Punch.EV was unveiled recently and will have its market debut on January 17. Compared to the ICE, the electric version has a new design and looks more like a smaller version of the Nexon EV. It borrows the refreshed grille and bumpers from the ICE.

Inside, the new Tata Punch EV will have a premium layered dashboard design that houses a 10.25-inch infotainment screen and there is even a Digital Instrument Cluster.

There will be two versions of the electric Tata Punch, the Standard and the Long Range. The Standard version will have 25 kWh battery pack while the Long Range version will have a 35 kWh battery. Both versions will come with different performance specs and driving range figures.

Tata Curvv.EV

Tata’s most important EV launch for 2024 is the Curvv EV. This mid-size SUV gets a coupe-like design. It will slot between the Harrier and Nexon in Tata’s portfolio. The specs of the all-electric Curvv are yet to be revealed, but we are told that it could have a range of up to 500km.

Tata Curvv.e is expected to follow in the footsteps of the Nexon and Tiago EVs and carve out a niche in this segment before the entry of competitors like the Creta and Elevate EVs, later. The early entry and coupe-SUV styling could help Tata stay ahead of the competition in this segment.

It is expected to have more features than the ICE version, including a new connected suite with ‘Arcade.EV’.
