2021 KTM Duke 125 To Launch Soon In India!

The baby KTM Duke 125 is about to get a significant update in the country!

The Duke 125 is a key model for KTM in India. With its rather affordable price tag, it obviously attracted a lot of beginners to the brand. Now the D125 has gotten major updates, inspired from the bigger, D200.

We tell you what, the updated Duke 125 looks more of a Duke 200 with the updates, as both share a major chunk of the parts including, headlights, fuel tank, tank extensions, tail panels, and the LCD screen. Though the D125 comes with different color schemes, it has been lagging behind in terms of the sharper design quo we see on the other KTMs in India. But with this latest design update it is sure to get back iin line.

Apart from the design, the D125 also carries built on the same platform which we have seen in the D200. The bike now gets the steel trellis frame with a bolt-on subframe. The wheels, brakes, USD front forks etc stay the same as before. The Duke 125 will probably get a larger 13.4L fuel tank and the bike will weigh more, considering, a similar update made the D200 gain 11kgs.

The 2021 Duke 125 will be equipped with a 124cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor producing 14.5hp and 12Nm of torque and mated to a 6-speed transmission. Although the prices haven’t been disclosed yet, we expect KTM to hike the price marginally. The bookings are open for the 2021 D125 and will probably go on sale in the last week of December.
