Renault Triber has been quite popular in the entry-level MPV space, primarily due to the balance it strikes, between desirable qualities and sheer practicality. The Urban Night limited edition adds more style, with a stunning Black paint scheme and a set of handpicked feature additions.
Urban Night Edition is the only way you can buy Renault Triber in Black, as the factory colour palette has no shade of Black in it.
Renault Triber Urban Night Edition has Stealth Black as its exterior paint, adorned by Stardust Silver accents at various places. The front and rear skid plates, side claddings, and rear trunk liner are finished in Stardust Silver.
Triber Urban Night Edition Is India’s Most Affordable Car With A Fully Digital Mirror!
While the design and layout of its cabin remain unchanged, the Triber Urban Night comes with a bunch of tasteful feature add-ons. The most significant of these is a 9.66-inch digital IRVM, which the manufacturer calls a ‘Smart Mirror Monitor’. This unit is a colour digital screen and an electrochromic mirror merged into one.
The digital display comes with a few touch controls that can be used to start and stop recording, adjust camera angles, and switch between cameras. The Triber Urban Night limited edition comes with front and rear cameras, the feeds of both are available in the mirror monitor. There is also the option to connect your smartphone and initiate the wireless transfer of recordings.
We have seen fully digital mirrors in many premium and luxury cars and SUVs. The Urban Night edition Triber, however, is the most affordable product to come with this feature. Yes, the digital mirror does look like an aftermarket accessory- forgivable considering the overall display quality and functionality of the unit.
Other feature additions include illuminated scuff plates and puddle lamps. The scuff plates here have ‘RENAULT’ lettering on them while the puddle lamps project ‘TRIBER’. In the Urban Night Edition Kwid and Kiger, the sill plates and puddle lamps read the respective model names. On very personal grounds, we’d say illuminated ‘RENAULT’ on scuff plates look better than model names!
Renault Triber Urban Night Edition Specifications
Specifications of the Urban Night Edition Triber remain the same as those of the normal car. The limited edition MPV is powered by 1.0 L, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 72 hp and 96 Nm. Available gearboxes include a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT.
