The TSD treasure hunt had over 50 participants
Yokohama conducted the first edition of its Women On Wheels (WOW ) rally in Bangalore. Sketched in a Time Speed Distance (TSD) treasure hunt format, the event saw participation from over 50 participants. Yokohama WOW had women empowerment and promoting gender diversity in motorsports as its key theme and among the ladies who took part were those from different spheres of life.
The Yokohama WOW rally had a rather interesting route. It started from Sheraton, White Field, Bengaluru, and traversed through a scenic topography to Vineyards in Bengaluru-Mysuru road, and back. The net distance covered was around 80-100 kilometers.
Celebrity radio personality RJ Malishka took part in the rally, for which she flew down from Mumbai. Karuuna Sharma from Delhi was another noteworthy name.
The event had Chetan Shivram Motors as its ground partner and Sheraton Bengaluru as its hospitality partner. Renowned rally personnel Musa Sherif was also part of the support team. Winners were awarded interesting cash prizes and certificates and across two major classes- amateur and professional.
