Jaguar I Pace Lands In Mumbai For Testing And Validation!

Jaguar Land Rover India is all set to launch the all-electric Jaguar I Pace in India

Jaguar Land Rover is readying to launch their first all electric SUV- the Jaguar I pace in the country. The BEV will officially hit the markets by March 2021, as per the latest reports from trustable sources. The first unit of the electric performance SUV has landed at JNPT near Mumbai and will be used for extensive testing and validation processes. The test unit is finished in Firenze Red and is a top-of-the-line HSE variant.

The Jaguar I Pace was first launched in 2018, in the global market. It was the British marque’s first-ever BEV offering. The I Pace is powered by a twin-motor setup mated to a 90kWh Lithium-ion battery, sending power to all four wheels. The Jaguar I Pace has an output of 294 kW and 696 Nm, and does the 0-100 run in just 4.8 seconds.

Needless to say in particular, the I Pace offers outstanding performance for an EV that offers a range of around 400 km. The Jaguar I Pace has over the years, bagged a number of coveted awards globally, including triple WCOTYs. The SUV was awarded the World Car of the Year, World Car Design of the Year, and World Green Car titles in 2019.

Jaguar Land Rover has plans to launch a range of interesting electric and hybrid vehicles in the months to come. The carmaker has already opened bookings for the Land Rover Defender plug-in hybrid.
