Sonet continues to be the top-seller for Kia India
Kia India records promising sales growth in July 2021. The Korean marque’s Indian vertical sold 15,016 units in July 2021. This translates to a Y-o-Y growth of 76%. This should be read in the backdrop of the entire industry’s Y-o-Y growth being just 49%.
Kia India has just three models in its entire portfolio- Sonet, Seltos, and Carnival. The Sonet continued to be the hot-cake in July as well, selling 7,675 units and constituting over 51% of Kia’s entire July sales. The Seltos has the second spot with 6,983 units sold last month. 358 units of the Carnival MPV also found buyers in July, indicating rising acceptance for the nameplate here.
Kia India has also crossed the 1 lakh sales mark in 2021, underlining the rocketing acceptance for the Korean marque here. The carmaker has recently been busy exploring various ways to improve their customer satisfaction and to provide better buying and ownership experiences. Kia was recently awarded 879 points in the Dealer Satisfaction Study 2021 by FADA. It has also started digitizing its dealer outlets here and had recently opened the first of this kind in Mumbai.
