‘Deep Forest’ and ‘Burnt Sienna’ are the new colours
Mahindra & Mahindra has achieved a major milestone by producing its 200,000th Mahindra XUV 700 SUV in just 33 months. To celebrate this success, the Indian-based manufacturer has revealed the addition of two new colour choices: Deep Forest and Burnt Sienna, exclusively for the XUV700 in India. This has expanded the colour palette to nine shades.
Mahindra XUV700 has resonated with consumer interests, providing a mix of strong road presence, good-looking design, likeable performance, high safety standards, and advanced technology and features. Additionally, Mahindra introduced a six-seater version of the XUV700 earlier this year.
The XUV700 set a new standard by offering multiple segment-first features, like Built-In Alexa Functionality, Level 2 ADAS, and dual 26.03cm HD displays, among others. The vehicle has also been recognized with over 40 awards, including the “2022 Indian Car of the Year.”, “Safer Choice Award” for 2022.
In GNCAP’s #SaferCarsForIndia campaign, the Mahindra XUV700 achieved the highest combined safety rating for occupants. It received five stars for adult occupant safety and four stars for child occupant safety.
The 2024 XUV700 was unveiled in January with new features such as ventilated front seats, memory ORVMs, and the Napoli Black color. Moreover, the introduction of the AX5 Select, MX 7-seater, and Blaze edition has diversified the XUV700 range, making it more appealing and accessible to a wider audience. Mahindra has also ramped up its production to ensure faster deliveries.
The Mahindra XUV700 is powered by a 2.0L four-cylinder petrol engine and a 2.2L diesel engine. The engines are paired with a six-speed manual transmission as standard, with a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission offered as an option. We have reviewed both engine options in detail.
