Marc comes in with extensive expertise in CV business
Tata Motors is about to get a major leadership change in the country. Mr Marc Llistosella has been appointed as the new Cheif Executive Officer and Managing Director of the home-grown manufacturer. Marc will assume his new role with effect from 1st July, 2021.
Marc has extensive expertise in the commercial vehicle business, with a track of having led CV big-shots including Fuso. His most recent role was that of the President and CEO of Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation and Head of Daimler Trucks in Asia. He had also assumed the role of MD and CEO of Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt Ltd, in the past.
Mr Guenter Butschek, the current MD and CEO of Tata Motors, would relocate to Germany at the end of his present contract, owing to personal reasons. Butschek has led the manufacturer to great heights over the last five years.
