The McLaren Sabre Is A Hyper Exclusive Supercar You Could Own If You Are Hyper Rich!

Here’s the most powerful non-hybrid McLaren

McLaren has taken the veils off its limited run supercar for the US, the McLaren Sabre. A few months back, a number of pictures of the mule undergoing rigorous track testing had surfaced on the internet, then named BC-03 internally. A dealership in Beverly Hills has now revealed the production car, that has let the world awestruck with its menacing stance. Finished in a dual tone scheme, the Sabre evidently draws inspiration from the Mclaren Vision Gran Turismo concept.

The Sabre is the most powerful non-hybrid car ever built by the British carmaker. Limited to just 15 units, Sabre will be sold only in the US. Just 15 of these cars would ever be built and will all go to customers in the US alone.

The Sabre uses a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 churning out a monstrous 835 hp and 800 Nm of torque. The car can reach a mindblowing top speed of 351kmph. For comparison, the Senna puts out 789 hp and 800 Nm of torque and has a top speed of 335 kmph. Meanwhile, McLaren is yet to reveal the other technical details of the Sabre.

McLaren Sabre does possess some Senna character. The LMP1 kind of fin running through the centre of the roof, a chunky rear diffuser and the exclusive three-slat wing pumps up the car’s aerodynamics. The Sabre has been built by the McLaren Special Operations wing and initiated by the customer, the owners of these cars were even given opportunities to drive them on a track in the development stage. Not only they were able to get their hands on the car before the official release, but also were able to give inputs to McLaren to customise the cars to their personal liking.

Even with absolutely no hint on the pricing yet, the first car has already reached its owner and the 14 others are either being booked or have already been taken.
