Omega Seiki And IIT Delhi To Work Together On EV Technologies!

The strategic collaboration will benefit both the parties alike

Omega Seiki had first set their names on the Indian automotive billboards by launching the electric cargo three-wheelers Singha and Singha Max in Feb 2020. Aimed at the B2B and e-commerce industries, these three-wheelers had amassed much attention back then.

Delighted by the response to their maiden products, Omega Seiki is now focusing on further developing their EV technologies. The manufacturer has now partnered with IIT Delhi for the same. Omega Seiki has signed an MoU with Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT), an industry interface organization established by IIT Delhi, for joint working on EV technologies and advanced research. The duo will jointly work towards enhancing their EV technologies and bringing about improvements in the efficiency and performance of the existing vehicles of the marque.

This strategic collaboration will leverage Omega Seiki in terms of design, simulation, product development, prototyping, etc. The manufacture is planning to develop a number of two, three, and four-wheeled EVs in the time to come. They have plans of launching two electric two-wheelers by Diwali and electric pickup trucks within the next three years.
