Tata Motors To Supply EV Fleet To BluSmart Mobility In Delhi NCR

India’s first all-electric ride handling service will now have XPRES T EVs In Delhi

It is no secret that Tata Motors is aggressively ramping up the EV lineup here. They had recently launched the second passenger EV- Tigor EV, after the hot-selling Nexon EV. EVs for the commercial space will roll out under the newly set-up XPRES vertical. The first product of this lineup is the XPRES T based on the Tigor platform. 

Tata Motors has now partnered with BluSmart Mobility to take the EV game further ahead. BluSmart will add Tata EVs to its all-electric fleet in Delhi-NCR. Tata will supply 3500 XPRES T EVs, as part of the project. The initiative is expected to witness high traction as the Delhi-NCR region is very warm to electric mobility, owing to the government policies and public focus on clean-commuting.

BluSmart Mobility is India’s first all-electric ride handling service and had recently raised $25 million in funding. It operates based on the official mobile application, which has had over 2.5 lakh downloads and handled over 7 lakh rides so far. 

Tata XPRES-T is a decent all-electric package in the commercial vehicle space. It has a 21.5 kWh high-density battery pack as its core and can offer ranges of 165 km or 213km per charge. Read our previous story to know more.
