Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has unveiled the latest addition to its lineup, the Alto Tour H1, a commercial hatchback specifically designed for the Indian market. Priced at a modest Rs. 4,80,500 for the manual 1.0L petrol and going up to Rs. 5,70,500 for the CNG variant (ex-showroom), the 2023 Maruti Suzuki Tour H1 aims to establish itself as India’s most cost-effective commercial hatchback.

The Tour H1 is based on the new generation Alto K10, which debuted last year. It has a slightly tweaked exterior design, with cheaper Black bumpers. Inside, the space has been optimized to offer passengers a more comfortable experience.

Prospective buyers can choose from three attractive colour options—Metallic Silky Silver, Metallic Granite Grey, and Arctic White.

Maruti Suzuki Tour H1 Specifications

Powering the Tour H1 is the new Alto’s 1.0L three-cylinder K-series DualJet petrol engine, which comes paired to a five-speed manual transmission. Additionally, a CNG variant is also available, equipped with a five-speed manual. There are no AMTs though.

When it comes to performance, the petrol-powered Tour H1’s 1.0L engine delivers 66.6 PS and 89 Nm. On the other hand, the CNG version provides 56.6 PS and 82.1 Nm. The Alto Tour H1 claims impressive fuel efficiency figures- 24.60 kpl for the petrol and 34.46 km/kg for the CNG.

In terms of safety, the vehicle gets dual front airbags, pre-tensioner and force limiter-equipped front seat belts, front and rear seatbelt reminders, an engine immobilizer, ABS , EBD, speed limiter, rear parking sensors etc.
