The Rich Legacy Of Morris Garages:

These limited edition MG cars try to encompass the brand’s rich legacy in automotive manufacturing and motorsport. Established in 1924, Morris Garages has a rich lineage in Britain’s motorsport and in building fast cars. One of the earliest ‘Fast MGs’ would be the 14/28 Super Sports- based on the Morris Oxford platform but sleek and fast for the period.

You know how big the brand is when you’re told they’d set a land speed record of 396kph in 1957 and later broke the same, with an astounding 410 kph, with Sir Stirling Moss behind the wheel!

We might know them today as a manufacturer that makes bulky SUVs and quirky EVs. But MG has made many interesting and iconic vehicles in the past. We previously listed a few of them in one of our visual stories.

Acknowledging how beautifully they live up to the ‘100 Years of Driving Smiles’ tagline, here’s us wishing Morris Garages a happy and inspiring centenary…
