The confirmation for the updated MV Agusta F3 800 has surfaced online
MV Agusta is all set to launch an updated F3 800 for the middleweight category. CEO of the Italian exotic sportbike manufacturer has confirmed it through a video session on Instagram. The company plans to launch it for the global market next year. There were no further details shared about this plan. F3 800 has been around us for quite a while now, and all its arch-rivals were updated to meet the present demands of their customers. Bringing in an updated version for the F3 would definitely help the brand get a better grip amidst the competition.
Aesthetics of this motorcycle is still an art and is mind-boggling to look at. Hence a change in the exteriors will be a good challenge for the company’s designers as it is pretty difficult to improve perfection. Speculations state that it could get some new color schemes, graphics, and an RC package to beat the heat of competition.
The present F3 is powered by an iconic 798cc, Inline 3 engine producing 148hp at 13,000rpm and 88Nm of torque at 10,600rpm. This engine has a distinguished character which is synonymous to F3 800.
It was also confirmed by the CEO that the new model would bring all the advanced electronic rider aids for the present day’s spirited riding. This possibly translates that there will be an IMU-based system with multiple traction control levels, riding modes, and cornering ABS and quick shifter. MV Agusta has proven excellence with the electronics on board and this new iteration will make no difference. Such an advanced machine for the market will be priced well by the Italians. The price tag for the new model is expected to be around 18 lakhs ex-showroom.
