The one-off special will soon be auctioned off…
Mahindra has unveiled a One-Of-One limited edition of their first electric SUV, the XUV 400. It was showcased at the 6th season of Mahindra Tech Fashion Tour. The limited edition model was created through a collaboration between Mahindra’s chief design officer, Pratap Bose and Delhi-based fashion designer Rimzim Dadu.
‘Fashion with fabrics’ remains the theme of this one-of-one XUV 400, says Mahindra. The twin-peaks copper-hued Mahindra logo receives a blue outline on the special edition. Other design highlights include multiple “Rimzim Dadu X Bose” badges at multiple areas of the exterior.

The cabin gets much more detailing on the One-off. The copper-stitched black leather upholstery encompasses the Rimzim Dadu design DNA. The detailing inside is deeper now, from the duffle bag and side bags to the dash with blue inlays and steel wire cushions at the rear. The cabin upholstery also has Arctic Blue highlights. The ‘Rimzim Dadu X Bose’ badging can be seen at multiple places inside the car as well.

The special edition will receive no mechanical updates from the original XUV 400. A 39.4 kWh, front-mounted electric motor will power this vehicle as well. It’s capable of producing a maximum power of 150bhp and 310Nm of torque. It takes 8.3 seconds to reach 100kmph from a stop, making it the fastest in the segment. 456km is the range offered by the company for a single charge. Using the 50kW fast charger, the SUV can be charged from 0 to 80% in 50 minutes.
