The Mahindra Treo Zor would come in three versions- pickup, Delivery van and Flat bed.

Mahindra has expanded its electric vehicle lineup further in India by launching the Treo based cargo three-wheeler range here. The Mahindra Treo has been on sale here for quite some time now. The electric three-wheeler has had a decent number of takers ever since its market debut. Mahindra had recently disclosed that over 5000 units of the Treo have so far been sold and over 35 million kilometers munched by their customers.

Mahindra’s electric mobility wing has now brought in a cargo three-wheeler based on the Treo architecture and has named it the Treo Zor. The vehicle offers three body configurations- pickup, delivery van, and flatbed. It is hoped to find decent demand in the e-commerce and commercial fleet industries.

The Treo Zor is powered by a modern-age Lithium-ion battery mated to an 8kW electric motor, putting out 42 Nm. The battery has a claimed life of over 1.50 lakh kilometers and can be charged by plugging into a 15AMP outlet. The motor too is IP67 rated waterproof unit, offering longer life.

The Treo Zor offers a payload capacity of 550 kilograms, which by far, is the best among the competition. Also, it has the best in class tray-loading height of 675mm, compared to the competition. Mahindra has taken special care in making the cabin of the Treo Zor more driver-friendly by offering a more ergonomically designed seat and cabin altogether.

The Mahindra Treo Zor competes against the likes of Omega Seiki Rage and Rage+. It comes with a 3 years/80000 kilometers warranty and is being retailed through the Mahindra small commercial vehicle dealerships in select cities. The sales would officially begin in December 2020.
