The car gets the brand’s much acclaimed INGENIUM petrol engine.

Jaguar F pace, the British car maker’s popular SUV becomes more affordable in India as the company now produces it locally. The local production is currently confined to just the petrol derivative of the performance SUV.

Prestige, the locally produced varient in discussion here, is powered by a 2.0 L 4 cylinder , 184 kW, 369 Nm Turbocharged INGENIUM petrol engine, and is priced at INR 63.17 Lakh (Ex. Showroom, India ) The trim also flaunts a host of exciting features and equipment like park assist, Lane Keep Assist, 360 degree parking sensors, Driver condition monitor, cabin air ionisation, 10.2 inch touch screen, Wi-fi Hotspot and so on.

Rohit Suri, President & Managing Director, Jaguar Land Rover India Ltd(JLRIL), said:
“In the two years since its launch in India, the Jaguar F-PACE has captivated the imagination of Jaguar fans and our discerning customers. With the launch of the locally manufactured Ingenium petrol derivative of the F-PACE, the appeal of our first Jaguar SUV is further enhanced.”

The F Pace, needless to say in particular, has been designed for supreme performance, agility , responsiveness and refinement, and truely lives upto its ‘Performance SUV’ tag, if not enriching it further with the flair of the ‘Jaguar standards’.

However the 2019 model year car gets a number of aesthetic add-ons like the illuminated metal treadplates, chrome switches for the 10-way seats, suede cloth headliner and bright metal pedals.

 India’s most awaited enthusiast cars are here!

JT Special Vehicles (JTSV), a 50:50 Joint Venture between Tata Motors and Coimbatore based Jayem Automotives, launched the much anticipated JTP performance brand in India by presenting the performance -boosted JTP versions of the popular Tata products, Tiago and Tigor.

Manufactured at at the Tata Motors Sanand facility,  both the cars get the JTP reworked versions of 1.2 L Turbocharged Revotron Petrol engines that can let out as much as 114 PS of power and 150 Nm of torque. Both the cars would flaunt multi drive modes to choose from, viz CITY and SPORT. Equipped with uniquely styled parts, these JTPs get a 5 speed manual transmission along with all those performance oriented intake and exhaust systems onboard. Thanks for the fine acceleration and superior performance be to the optimized gear ratios and final drive. The suspension has also been tuned for better handling and driving dynamics and the JTPs sit lower to the ground than their regular counterparts.

The top speed has been regulated to 160 kmph and 0-100 comes in 10 seconds. Impressive, huh?

According to Mr. Gubbi Nagbhushan, CEO, JTSV, “We at JTSV are excited to launch the first 2 cars of JTP range of vehicles. The Tiago and Tigor are extremely capable products, which have further been boosted with Jayem’s technical know-how of developing performance cars. Targeted at the urban
customers who are driving enthusiasts with a hidden streak of adventure, the Tiago JTP and the Tigor JTP have been engineered to provide customers with the thrill of driving.”

The Tata Tiago JTP bears a price tag of INR 6.39 lakhs while the Tata tigor JTP is priced at INR 7.49 Lakhs.  A video of the upcoming Tata Harrier SUV undergoing the water-wading  test is taking rounds on the internet !

You and I know that India is waiting impatiently to see the Tata Harrier, apparently the car maker’s most anticipated launch of recent times, in flesh. We have been receiving it all with much zeal every time Tata let out something new on the vehicle.

We have been trying our best to keep you updated, right from the SUV’s christening to the recent reveal of the details of it’s architecture.  And today, Tata has teased us with more proof of the Harrier’s off-roading capabilities with a video showing the SUV  wade through a troubled stream of water with ease. The prototype seems heavily camouflaged in the video implying the automaker’s determination to keep the design cues under veil till the launch. The SUV can be seen handling the fairly deep stream of water with utmost ease and efficiency  in the video. Obvious from the video is the fact that the underpinnings owing much to the Land Rover architecture are built to take the extremes when it comes to off-roading.
